Haw Par Villa

Today I went to Haw Par Villa with Queeness, Elton and Lee Rong today. Meet the boys slightly after ten today. Then as usual, Queeness would be late. Apparently after my morning call for her, she haven't woken. So we went to Toast Box and have breakfast. There, Mavis was working. She went in and out a few times before she saw us. Well, she saw me first, then saw Elton. She was so shocked, she gasped.

So Queeness came so we took bus 30 to Haw Par Villa. It was a forty five minutes bus ride. Upon reaching Haw Par Villa. The place was exceptionally quiet. It's not like how I remembered a few years ago where all the exhibits were filled with both tourist and locals. Now it's just a very quiet park. I remember seeing all the statues in the old photo albums when I was a little less than seven. Memories started seeping in.

We went in the "Ten Courts Of Hell" exhibits, coming out paranoid of doing too much sin and suffer in hell. Laughs. The exhibits are poorly maintained and insects are every where. I hope the government could invest more on the place. Lee Rong was basically our tour guide explaining the story behind the statues. He said he read them on comics. I would just listen to him tell the story.

After touring just half of the place, we decided to head to Vivo City for our lunch. We had Greenhouse Café at $10.90. The boss was kind enough not to charge service charge and GST from us. Laughs. After which we went and walk around a bit and Darrell came to join us after his movie with his friends.

We went over to grab some 贡茶 as usual then we head over to Orchard to find Susy. After that, we headed for bus 190 and bused to Lot 1. I will never forget that bus ride. Crazy bus driver, cheap skate commuter, squeeze like sardines. What an experience. Arrived at Lot 1, Elton and Susy went to grab KFC while the rest of us went to Lee Rong's house as he need to bring his brother home from the bus of the child care.

Queeness played tutor to the cute boy and torture him with mathematics. Laughs. Thinking him multiplication of nine, finishing half a year of book in half an hour. Kudos. After which, we went to Lot 1's Food Junction to have dinner and shortly, we headed home. Today was fun, but tiring. Planning next outing with the people soon!
