Random Eat-a-lot Day
Hello, hello!

I was thinking about what to blog because I haven't been blogging for like a day or two. Then I decided to document what I ate for one entire day and then I realized how much I ate. Oh gosh. So stick around and you may find a place or two that you want to give it a go-go!

So Friday is the only day that I have lunch time in school (which, I take it as a good thing).  So I met Yong Xiang, my lunch buddy to have lunch with me. I wanted to try the new café at eleven2 named "Manna @ SP", so I dragged the reluctant Yong Xiang down the business block.

So this is the small café during lunch period. There are no seating areas or anything and everything is take-away straight. The waiting time is around 10 minutes with a crowd like that so I guess it's not that bad?

The menu!

So we headed over to Yong Xiang's CCA's clubhouse where we had our lunch. It feels really comfy inside with the sofa and all!

So I ordered the "Daily Set Meal" which cost me $5. Inclusive of a main, a drink and a side. I ordered the grilled fish, garden salad and potato salad (which they ran out of, so they gave me mashed potato).

And Yong Xiang complained about how pathetically small the portion is, which for $5 I guess, that's that. But with the same amount of money, we could have easily gotten a bigger portion at Food Court 4's western food.

Guess the food was pretty okay, not the best that I've tried but not that bad either. Maybe I would give it a go again some time.

So after which, I went over to find Velle and Cherie at Food Court 3 where they had their lunch. Since I already had mine, I decided to have so desserts instead. So I got myself some tau huey from the Takoyaki pushcart.

I got the one with the Mango exploding thingy. With the little google, I found that it's called "Mango Bursting Boba". This cost me $2!

It's a little too sweet for me. Texture is a little like jelly instead of like a beancurd. And I didn't really taste like the soya bean mainly because the mango taste is too overwhelming. Still pretty good if you just happen to crave for Tau Huey in school.

So after school I was a little hungry, so I headed over to some random pasar malam (Night Market) near my house. It's really sad how pasar malam ain't how crowded and fun as they used to be.

So I got myself Waffle Stick! It's also from a Takoyaki-selling store and it's like $1 each. It's like pre-made so it's not as good as those that are just made. I used to had Waffle Dogs from Gek Poh which are really yummy but the uncle has since closed his shop few years back. If anyone know any good Waffle Dogs, do tell me!

So while I was about to walk home, I saw this new bakery and I remembered that I tried their breads back at Boon Lay Market and they are pretty good.

And since they are newly opened, their bread are at promotional prices which is pretty cheap and worth it!

Then I went home where I dropped my laptop and headed to Gek Poh's McDonald's where I met Zane and had dinner with him. Haven't had a proper burger from McDonald's in like forever!

I got myself a Black Pepper Flamer Burger with Lychee McFizz, which is the seasonal burger this time round. It's $7 for a meal, well, actually $6.95.

Here's the Citrus Thai Shaker fries, which in case you haven't realized, tasted like Tom Yum.

My burger! It tasted kind of like McSpicy burger just not spicy, so I guess it's pretty good for my weak spicy intolerant stomach.

I headed home and crashed into my bed almost immediately because I only had 3 hours of sleep earlier that day and I woke up around half past nine? Then I saw my Whatsapp and Xiang Qi is asking for dessert. So around ten she drove over my house area to pick me up for some final round of food that day.

We went over to BBDC at 10:50 to pick up Elton whom just had his driving lesson, and then to Grace's place to pick Grace up. Can't really decide on what to eat so I randomly suggested on Prata and off we go!

Headed over to Niqqi's The Cheese Prata Shop located near West Coast Highway.

When we headed over it's actually quite packed. I don't know why, but there were a lot of flies around our table when we first arrived so it kind of annoyed me a little bit there cause we are busy trying to fan the flies away.

The menu!

Me and the driver of the day!

The very loving Elton & Grace.

My Teh Tarik~ So frothy!

Our curry. Not sure what curry is this but it's pretty good.

Our Prata! Muahahaha.

I ordered like an Egg Prata and a Egg Milk Prata. I actually prefer the Egg Milk Prata mainly because it's sweeter (the condensed milk) and I was having a sweet tooth at that point of time.

And to end of the day with a group photo. Haha I know I look quite forever alone in the photo... but it's okay!

And that's pretty much it! Ya, I do realize that I eat a lot for a day and I skipped workout that day. I feel guilty too (not). Haha! Right right, that's it! Bye bye!
