Poulét
Hello hello! So today's post is going to be a short one on a dinner with Chun Jia, Qi Shan and Ka Yee on (last) Wednesday! Wednesday is the shortest and earliest day off school for me. I only have lessons at 10am to 12pm! So I went home after school and did pretty much nothing then headed over to Jurong Point to meet Chun Jia and Qi Shan first. We went to try the new restaurant "Poulét" (pronounced as POO-LAY which meant chicken in French) which took over "New York New York!" (they are all from the same company). It apparently have quite good reviews online for their outlet at Bugis+ so we decided to give it a go-go! So yep, they are located at the basement of Jurong Point 2! The Menu!
Then I just had to take pictures of stuff that has their logo!
This is Saucission. It's actually pork sausages. Comes in 4s, 2 dark browns ones and 2 light brown ones. The dark brown one actually taste nicer cause it's has taste while the other two just plain bland. Comes in like a chilli sauce and wasabi like sauce as told by my friend cause I was too chicken to try the sauces (I cannot really take spicy food; my stomach will kill me).
Next up! Poulet Roti which is their classic. A bit of research revealed that it's roasted chicken with chardonnay cream sauce which to me tasted a hell lot like coconut milk. Which is pretty good and yummy!
This is the Escargot which in case you don't know what it is, is actually cooked snails. Yes, creepy as it sounds. No shells and you can't really make out that they are really snails on the table but google-ing the dish does gives me the creeps! To me it's pretty tasteless too, and nothing like anything I have ever eaten, I also don't really like it at all anyway.
My very first (most probably last) escargot!
The ambiance is quite nice, spacious and clean. Quite nicely designed too.
Yes, it is dessert time!!
The first of the two that I tried is the Banana Bread Pudding which was pretty omnomnom! It's topped with vannilla ice cream which was cold and the pudding itself is hot which makes it a perfect match. The banana taste is really fragrant and this is really something to die for! Must try!
The Tiramisù is also a yum! Their coffee coated lady fingers really got my caffine craving started! Served in a nice little jar, just makes everything looks a hell lot sweeter!
So yep, Poulét is located on the basement of Jurong Point and they do have other outlets namely Bugis+, Great World City and Chinatown Point. Also, a new outlet is going to open in VivoCity this month!
So yep! Do give them a go-go and tell me how you feel about them!

To end off the post, group photos with my company of the night!
Okay, I'm so sorry about how late this post is and how slowly my rate of posting has become. I really have a hell lot of things to blog about just that I do not have the time. Hell lot of assignments coming up. Give me some time and I hope all the posting would be up soon and postings would come up more regularly. Meanwhile, don't give up on me please!
