Uncle Leong Seafood + MOF + Shabu Sai
Was out with my aunt and granny to have dinner and since all of us are seafood lovers, why not crabs? HAHA. Headed to this place which my aunt's friend recommended (a place which I also made a passing remark of how ulu it is and how hard it is to survive at it's location).

Menu

There is a lot of crab decors. Not sure if it's real crabs at all.

Fried fish skin. Not as salty as outside, but still fattening.

The salted + century egg with veggie.

Prawn roll? Don't know what it is called in English.

Cereal Prawn. I like it's cereal!

The crab beehoon. I used to really raved about the one at Dean's cafe but I totally think that this one can fight with that.

I love the soup. Nomz.

See how the entire crab meat fall out from the shell effortlessly.

I think this place serves really decent seafood for a heartland area and since it's at Jurong East only it's worth a try if you live in the west area I guess?

This is me after I can finally go out and meet my friends after my Korea trip. HAHAA.

And this time I'm meeting Chun Jia!!

And she's equally as excited to meet me. HAHAHA Just look at her!

Decided to drop by MOF since it was my birthday month and I can redeem my birthday dessert!

Since I've gotten so fat from my Korea trip, decided to got a salad for dinner!

Free coffee for memebers! I wanted to grab a flavoured Hoegaarden but I need to drive after which so I skipped it. ):

Chun Jia's seafood Aglio Olio. I'm never disappointed by MOF's food.

My free birthday dessert. Was craving for bananas, thus banana split!

HEHEHE. So happy to finally spend some time with her!

After which, went home grab the car and out I go again. Headed to Al-Azhar for supper! (What's the point of eating salad really?)

LOL. 1am in the morning at West Coast Park.

Next up: managed to meet some of my secondary school mates for a meet up after so many years. We headed to Orchard Central's Shabu Sai for some omnomnom Shabu Shabu!

So we have to pay cash upfront which I pretty much okay with. $30+ nearly $40 per person but if I'm not wrong, we're there on a weekend night...

So you can choose 2 soup per table but since we have two table, we have 4.

Sukiyaki + Torkotsu Shouyu Soup for the girls.

This two are the more decent ones as compared to the Tomato soup that the boys had.

Hi.

So there is free flow of meat which is Pork, Beef and Chicken. But it's very hard to call for service.

Drinks we have green tea (the japanese kind) and soft drinks.

And of course ice cream!

And the noodles and sides are for you to take yourself.

And some ready made food that I'm not a fan of.

What's Shabu-Shabu without the sauce?

The girls table!

Ready? Go.

Me and Charis!

My icecream! It's like unicorn poop. LOL.

Our group photo!

I think this is comparable to Suki-Ya but I kinda prefer Suki-Ya cause this service kind of slower, and they just cleared our food and pot without even asking. However they have more soup and sides variations and they don't have a time limit (where as Suki-Ya was 80 minutes for lunch and 100 minutes for dinner). Also they have free flow of drinks whereas Suki-Ya you have to add additional money for drinks. Aiya, both also have pros and cons la. So it's up to you, but food taste wise, comparable.

Okay, that's all for today. Still have some photos on my old phone to clear and then we can move on to some newer updates! BYE BYE.
