Canelé + KSuites + Koh Grill & Sushi Bar (Shiok! Maki)
Hello, hello!!

I don't know why I am blogging so slowly, but this is a day, one month ago. Just the start of the holidays. A full day in town full of nomming awesome food. Can't wait to share it with you. So let's go.

So at the morning, I met Veronica first where I then headed to the M1 in paragon to collect my Man Of Steel premier tickets then we went to look for somewhere to have lunch. We first headed to Wild Honey but it seem to only serve breakfast which don't seem that good to us so we decided on Canelé for our lunch instead.

They are best known for having one of the best Macarons in Singapore but I did not manage to try it cause I was too full!

Veronica ordered salad. So healthy of her. The scallops looks really good and yum! But I didn't try it. It's the orange salad thingy in the menu, so it's salad with some orange juice on top. Veron say it's pretty good!

My latte.

My Cabonara with bacon and poached egg. It's quite cheesy and creamy! I like the spaghetti too. YUMMEHHH! Mine is a meal which cost me $15 but I think the person forgot to charge me for upgrading my coffee to a latte. Oh wello!

Yep, no doubt I am going to have them again. But maybe I will try their Macarons next time. Hehe.

After which I left Veronica then I was joined by Kayee which we then headed over to Orchard Park Hotel for some K session with Chun Jia and Qi Shan.

We headed over to their K Suites which are well known for their ridiculously big rooms!

This BIGGGG! It's like totally sofa and so comfyyy.

Two screens big~~

And there's even a computer for you to use though it's ridiculously slow and the keyboard ain't even working.

Then the microphone is cordless also which is really good!

It's a really nice place cause it's spacious and cheap. ($!5 for weekends for student, $10 for weekdays for student) but it's quite far from the train station and therefore can be a pain in a neck to head to. Other than that, this would be my favorite place to sing at!

And just to end the day, we were joined by Felicia (the day was really to actually celebrate her birthday) for some Maki at Koh Grill & Sushi Bar. Felicia queued for us and when we are there we already had a seat, but the queue was crazy!!

Straight in we go!

It's quite small inside and the waitresses are so busy it's really hard to get their attention.

This is what we are here for. SHIOK! Maki. Raved by many bloggers and I really do have to give it a tryyy!

My friend say only the Makis are worthed it, so Makis that is!

Waiting for the fooooooooooooooooooooooooood!

Pitan maki chosen by Felicia. It's with century egg, which explains the name pitan (Chinese for century egg) The century taste is not too overwhelming. It has faint avocado taste and salmon. Yummy!

Look at every one taking photos! Post all the foodporn to Instagrammmmm!

The inside of pitan maki!

The gyoza is not bad! Quite nice also.

This is their signature maki. It's sesame seed makes it crunchy but I am not very sure what is the filling inside.

Shiok Maki Gen 2! Thick salmon, with prawn. Omnomnomnom! Very nice!

The last and my favorite, Shiok! Maki Generation 1. With Salmon, Eel and Avacado. I don't know how to describe the taste but it just fits perfectly!

I think they have one of the best makis I have tried. I like how there are more fillings than rice, which therefore would not be too overwhelming. I would definitely have them again, but one thing that turns me off has got to be their queue. I hope maybe they have more outlets or have better crowd control. This is also quite affordable with one plate of 8 pcs maki to be around $18? We shared our food and with $15 paid per person, we are all full and bloated. So yeah, do give them a try!!

And not forgetting the whole point of that day, which is to celebrate Felicia's birthday. Got a tiny slice of matcha cake from BreadTalk to do the honor!

Yep. And that's it for a typical day out with my friends. Hohoho. I'll see you guys again soon. Toodles!
