Pradise Inn (Mother's Day Lunch)

Hello Earthlings,

So in case you don't already know, Mother's Day was last Sunday and of course we went ahead and treated our mom with a meal. In this case I chose Paradise Inn because of the affordability of it (because I was broke). And so yeah. They only have special Mother's Day set meal so I feel kind of cheated anyway.

So yeah, I went to the outlet at West Coast Plaza and I had trouble parking my car so I was this lousy. ):

The Water Chestnut drink included in the meal. We don't really have much choice.

Sorry if my food don't look so nice cause I went to buy newspaper and my parents went ahead to tuck into it before I manage to take a picture of it.

Fried fish, don't really like it. Quite hard, quite dry.

The noodle was pretty acceptable, nothing special.

My kou rou bao! It's the bombzz! This is what they are known for and it's not included in the meal. Their meat is quite juicy and tender! Must try if you are here!!

The charsiew. Quite nice too. A bit more dry than regular ones.

Fish maw soup... Meh.

This is AMAZING. The Wasabi Prawn. I hate Wasabi but the Wasabi taste isn't strong in this one but it's very fragrant and amazing. Must try really, don't need to be scared of the wasabi really!

Salted Egg + Century Egg Veggie. Okay la, not the best.

Qing Teng dessert. Nothing much to compliment about but not that bad either.

We spent around $210 for the meal for 4 people which I think was way too much for the meh-ish standard of food. Some food are really nice la. But I think maybe it's because of the special occasion. Oh well, was quite disappointed this round cause I always have a very good impression of the food when I try it at other outlets. But still, do give them a try if you ever get the chance!
