I am currently sitting in a corner of the CO room using my computer whereas everybody else was busy playing their instruments. They are currently practicing very hardworkingly for the up coming SYF (Singapore Youth Festivals) competition. I sure hope they do win Gold, or better still Gold with Honours. So I reached the school at 8am in the morning, feeling extremely fatigue. Was busy uploading photos last night though I fail to finish uploading everything. I reached the school and the first thing I did is connect the laptop to then internet so that is made possible for me to upload the remaining photos. Mid way through the combined practice, I went downstairs where I sat to have a chat with Xuan Kai and Wei Jie outside the staffroom. There I saw Ms Lim, Mr Lee and Ms Ang. The sad thing is I didn't manage to get Ms Ang to take a photo with me. She ran away too fast. After which, I went back to CO room where I continue to upload photos. Soon enough it's sectional practice. Where I continue to sit at the corner to upload more photos. I know, no life. Afterwhich, got Xuan Kai to buy some cup noodles due to the fact that there is no food for the seniors. But when he came back, we realised he didn't got any hot water. So Ka Yee and I walked to 7-11 to get some hot water. I came back and Ka Yee went home. So soon after sectional practice ended and now I'm here at combined practice, blogging. Typing so loudly, hopeing nobody gets affected by the sound of me typing. Looking forward to the last day of CO camp! Photos: [1] [2] Tweet |

Had a really great day in Chinese Orchestra camp today. I shouldn't exactly call it a camp since, firstly, there's no overnight. Secondly, it's all practice. I did mention the camp was fun, didn't I? Main reason is due to fact that I've seen some friends that I haven't seen in like forever! So I met Jia Jing, Chun Jia, Michelle, Sheila and Charis at Pioneer Mall McDonald's. Xuan Kai was supposed to meet us. But it turns out that he was totally not contactable. After our breakfast, we headed to Boon Lay Secondary School for the camp. Went to my section, sat around. Went to my ex-class. Reminiscence. If I could turn back time, I would change everything. But I can't! So it's time to move on. Aha! Never seen me so optimistic before, right?! I saw Mdm Ang outside the staff room. Immediately without thinking I jumped into her arms. Aw, it was so awesome to hug her. So it was practice for them and playing with my camera for me. I bet I was disrupting everyone with my shutter sound. After everything, walked to Jurong Point with Ka Yee, Chun Jia, Michelle, Sheila, Vilson, Yong Xiang and Xuan Kai. I nearly forgot to mention that I blinded Yong Xiang by taking photo of his eyes with flash. Laugh till my tummy hurts damn bad. Went up to Zone X where most of them had their share of Dance Dance Revolution Extreme and Jubeat. Aftermath, we split up and I followed Xuan Kai to KFC where we met Hui Wen, Xin Ying and Siew Hui. Had an awesome chat with them. Did a lot of gossiping. Headed to Zone X again. Watch them play Dance Dance Revolution Extreme while waiting for beloved Jian Sen to come from his work. Miss him to the max. While walking to Long John Silver to grab our dinner, saw Michelle and Charis and so we decided to eat together. After dinner, we split ways from Michelle and Charis. Jian Sen, Xuan Kai and I headed to 7-11 to get some drinks and drank it at the Art Park. Then we headed to Xiao Rui's where we watched "童眼" along side with Ai Theng, Pei Qi and Ying Xiu. I left at 10 pm as I have to reach home before my 10.30 pm curfew. While walking to the bus stop, I met Gregory. Asked him to come to CO camp tomorrow. He say he cannot promise me. I was so upset because of that! Upon boarding the bus, I saw Safirah. Had a small chat with her about life. When I got down from the bus I saw Jasmine (Senior), asked her to come CO camp, she denied me instantly. Sad to the max. In conclusion, today was a great day and I'm looking forward to tomorrow! Have been indulging myself with large amount of sinful chocolates these days. Just got home from a Christmas dinner with my maternal family half an hour ago. My tummy is bloated with loads of turkey, chocolates and ham. Talk about gaining weight during the holiday season. Left home around six where we head to Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. There I saw many aunts that I haven't seen for an entire year. As usual, they start complimenting about how we've grown. Started tucking in to all the delicious delicacies. When we got the turkey and honey ham where the chef is there to cut for us, he gave us a really small portion. After several rounds, he still insist on giving us real small servings. Until sister said "She wants four servings", that chef continues giving miserably small portions. So I spent my time taking photos and talking nonsense. I just made a realization. When you hold a DSLR, there is higher probability for strangers to ask you to help them take group photos. Not that I didn't want to, it's just a realization. In conclusion, today was a great day, or should I say, yesterday. Merry Christmas everybody! Photos: [1] [2] Tweet |

Yesterday the Sodapias headed to the Esplanade Concert Hall for Harmonica De Cantabile, in support of our beloved member, Veronica. I first met half the lovelies at three thirty in Lakeside MRT. We took off from there and headed to Peninsula Hotel Shopping Complex to look at some camera lenses. Saw a Polaroid camera. Melted. We headed to Shin-Sapporo Ramen (新札幌らーめん) where we had our super delicious Shin-Sapporo Miso Ramen (新札幌みそらーめん). I had the spicy (辛口) one, while the rest of them had the non-spicy (普通) one. It's not exactly really spicy though, which I am quite happy about. I would really like to compliment the Tamago. It was really awesome as it literally melts in your mouth. After which, we slowly headed to the Esplanade. We were walking around Esplanade when Jessica saw this Toy Story 3 badge and she said that she wanted it (Not sure if she just said jokingly), and Jordon really bought it for her. She felt so touched she nearly cried. After Shar reached the Esplanade we started going into the Concert Hall to wait for the performance to begin. Honestly, I was staring at Veronica the whole time for her school's performance. Okay, I'm sick. But there's no one else I knew there. After which the other school's performance sounds like lullaby to me. Upon the performance of Lakeside Primary School's Harmonica Ensemble, I fell asleep. Sorry, kids. They are kind of cute though. Damien decided they were cute because they are his juniors (you know, same primary school). I only woke up upon the intermission, which means I slept for four songs. While the others went to the washrooms for the intermission, I decided to stay inside the Concert Hall and wait. After the intermission, I was slightly more awake. I shall say, the finale was awesome. Three hundred harmonicists playing the same song. The sight was, extravagant. The full power of great Harmonica. I didn't know how to explain how I felt. You just had to be there to feel it. I'm so glad I was there to feel such and awesome feeling. After which, Jessica's dad came to fetch her home. The rest of us headed to the roof garden. The boys slacked and I took some photos. After we soon contacted Veronica (no reception inside the Concert Hall), we met her and we headed to the Hawker Center at Blk 964 to have our supper. Damien and I shared drinks and we drank it faster than a blink of an eye. Didn't knew why we are so thirsty. I went ahead to satisfy my craving for 蚝煎 that has been there since a week ago. I paid S$4 for it which only have 3 oysters. I guess they are cutting back on costs right? But I got to admit the egg was really yummy. It's a little oily and I got slightly nauseous and Damien felt a little sick too. Finished our food and Veronica's mummy came and fetched Veronica and Damien. Then all of us headed home. All in all, yesterday was a great day. Can't wait to go to Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts for Shar's performance next month. It is awesome to have so many musically inclined friends. Sodapias, lets' do a cover on Pachelbel's Canon next time. Tweet |

Had an awesome night out with my beloved classmates the night before. Met Selina at Jurong East MRT where we head to Bugis to wanting to meet Yiren, but sudden change to plans so we head to Pasir Ris. While waiting for the shutter bus, Dilip gave me a call and he agreed to give us a ride. We met him at White Sands where we also so Zhi Hong and company. At White Sand's McDonald's saw Yang Tee. Alas, he decided to go for a date with some girl rather than coming for class chalet.Headed to Aloha Loyang, where we waited for people to come on in. Slacked a bit and then played Basketball with the boys. Yiren is a great basketball player. Awesome. Then headed in start barbecuing, had some food. Continue with my video. Heard commotion in the Basketball court. Pulled Ms Lim to play. Apparently the boys from our class are playing with so petite girls from the other resort. They were extremely violent. I got one hit on my face, two hits on my hand, one stomp on my feet and one push. They still complain the boys for being violent when the boys really isn't (Oi, my class all gentlemen horh!). Whats wrong with them. They call my Papa "darling", I'm jealous. Nah, forget it. Never going to see their face again. The boys from our class seemed to enjoy their company anyway. Headed back in cause the lights in the Basketball court was turned off. Took class photo, cut birthday cake, took birthday photo, see class video. Ms Lim went home and I went for a walk with my beloved papa. Talked about rubbish. Then headed back to the chalet to bathe. Had drinks, slack talk rubbish the whole night. I don't know why there isn't enough rooms but some of the boys slept in the living room. So had to move out to the outdoors to chat. Closed the doors and drew the curtains just in case anyone of them caught a cold. Was at the outdoors chatting with papa, Dilip, Farhana and Selina. Then headed for a car ride which was extremely pleasurable and woke me up real good. Started cleaning up things as the bright sun rises. While the boys headed to the swimming pool, I followed to grab some photos. Headed back to catch some sleep while Yiren blasted some very irritating metal/rock songs. Woke up, headed to the beach to get some breather. Waited for the authorities to check the chalet, head to reception to pay fines and followed some of my classmates to Pasir Ris MRT then split our ways. I want another outing soon.
