Gingerbread Studios

Half of today was rotting at home. Then Xuan Kai got online, so I was whining to him about being so bored at home. He then ask me if I want to go recording with him. Of course I jump at it since it's a billion times more entertaining than rotting at home.

So I met Xuan Kai at Buzz slightly after two as I was late. Then we trained to Jurong East. Then, it was raining heavily. Xuan Kai didn't know exactly where is it so we ended up walking one big round under his People's Action Party umbrella. I didn't know he support them so much.

Then we finally arrived. There is the audio technician and producer. Both are friendly and welcoming. One of them even mistake me for being Xuan Kai's sister. Third person to think that way. Seriously, we're not a like at all. After that, I sat there for five hours and listen to him record.

I was nearing to falling asleep, then finally we are done. Then we walked to Chinese Garden and trained back to Jurong Point. There we ate KFC and shortly after, headed home.

Overall it was a good experience to know how recording a CD is like. Now I'll appreciate music even more.

Chinese Orchestra Camp

Hi, I'm back to my blog again. I kind of waste the whole day today. What I did the whole day? Slack at Chinese Orchestra and then rot at home. What have this holiday made of me. Constant body ache and thinking of useless things. Well, this didn't seem like my normal "what-happened-today" posts right?

Maybe I'm just too tired. I'm going busy myself with school related things soon. What's the deal. Mathematics Preparatory Programme, Laptop Configuration and Digital Media Information Technology School Camp.

Oh my god, what's wrong with me today? Perhaps too much time with nothing to do makes me thinks about nonsensical things. But I've got to admit, hectic lifestyle made me not to think about trashy things that once happened in my life, my constant whines.

I shall stop whining here. This is just so unusual. Someday I'll figure this out, some day.

Botanic Gardens

Hi, I'm back from some major sun tanning again. I'm becoming super tanned now a days and from my previous posts you should have known why. Today I had another picnic session, but this time with my primary school friends.

I walked to Jurong Point again. Adult fare, remember? So I walk there thinking I was late. But, I was first there. All of them are late. So we walked over to FairPrice Xtra to grab some food to eat there. Headed over to the bus interchange to get bus 174 and bused to Botanic Garden.

Upon arrival, found a empty patch of grass and set our mat. There we had the snacks we brought. Eating, drinking and chatting. In between those conversations, I realized how much I've forgotten about primary school.

After three hours of slacking, we headed over to Shi En's house. There we played with her kittens and watch her use the computer. Heh. Overall, day was awesome but tiring.

Hang Out

I don't know how to start this post at all. I've been getting a lot of sun lately. Today I went kite flying (again) with the Chinese Orchestra people. We met at Buzz at ten. I was late cause I walked to Jurong Point. This was a due to the adult fare that I've been badly affected by.

When I reach there, I see Zi Quan whom is desperately trying to contact Xuan Kai. So, I took out my phone and called Xuan Kai's house. Apparently he has just woken up. Then, we saw Ka Yee and we took off to FairPrice Xtra. There we bought a kite, met Qi Shan. Head to Jurong Central Park.

There, Xuan Kai came. We started flying the kites. I had a hard time trying to get it up. An uncle flying kite nearby cam to help me. Thanks! Then soon, it started to rain. Headed to Jurong Point for shelter and Chun Jia went to work. We headed to Lai Lai Kitchen for lunch. Then we headed to Xuan Kai's house.

At Xuan Kai's house, Xuan Kai uses his laptop while the rest of us watched the television laughing at ridiculous acts of shame. Laughs. Then we headed downstairs to play table tennis and badminton. It was awfully fun and tiring. Headed back up and into Xuan Kai's bed room to slack, chat and play. Awesome time I had.

Haw Par Villa

Today I went to Haw Par Villa with Queeness, Elton and Lee Rong today. Meet the boys slightly after ten today. Then as usual, Queeness would be late. Apparently after my morning call for her, she haven't woken. So we went to Toast Box and have breakfast. There, Mavis was working. She went in and out a few times before she saw us. Well, she saw me first, then saw Elton. She was so shocked, she gasped.

So Queeness came so we took bus 30 to Haw Par Villa. It was a forty five minutes bus ride. Upon reaching Haw Par Villa. The place was exceptionally quiet. It's not like how I remembered a few years ago where all the exhibits were filled with both tourist and locals. Now it's just a very quiet park. I remember seeing all the statues in the old photo albums when I was a little less than seven. Memories started seeping in.

We went in the "Ten Courts Of Hell" exhibits, coming out paranoid of doing too much sin and suffer in hell. Laughs. The exhibits are poorly maintained and insects are every where. I hope the government could invest more on the place. Lee Rong was basically our tour guide explaining the story behind the statues. He said he read them on comics. I would just listen to him tell the story.

After touring just half of the place, we decided to head to Vivo City for our lunch. We had Greenhouse Café at $10.90. The boss was kind enough not to charge service charge and GST from us. Laughs. After which we went and walk around a bit and Darrell came to join us after his movie with his friends.

We went over to grab some 贡茶 as usual then we head over to Orchard to find Susy. After that, we headed for bus 190 and bused to Lot 1. I will never forget that bus ride. Crazy bus driver, cheap skate commuter, squeeze like sardines. What an experience. Arrived at Lot 1, Elton and Susy went to grab KFC while the rest of us went to Lee Rong's house as he need to bring his brother home from the bus of the child care.

Queeness played tutor to the cute boy and torture him with mathematics. Laughs. Thinking him multiplication of nine, finishing half a year of book in half an hour. Kudos. After which, we went to Lot 1's Food Junction to have dinner and shortly, we headed home. Today was fun, but tiring. Planning next outing with the people soon!

2E6 Class Outing

Today, I went to get roasted again. This time at Marina Barrage. Met the people bright and early. A bit after ten at Boon Lay MRT platform. Then we trained to Marina Bay and took bus 400 to Marina Barrage. We started to try to fly the kite. I failed umpteen times till the point I don't bother to try anymore.

After tossing the kite on the mat, Lim Kang and En Zhan picked it up and started flying it. Apparently that are able to get it up in the sky while I fidget under the hot and scorching sun, applying thick layers of sunblock.

Slowly but surely, the dark clouds came and rain started. We flee for shelter and hid at the Gallery Café at the second story. There we had our lunch. The service time is ridiculously slow, so we spent the time chatting.

So there goes our outing, next outing shall be in April 6!

Sentosa

People, I'm just back from a exhausting day with a the lovelies. Morning, I went to Boon Lay Secondary Chinese Orchestra. At about ten in the morning. Apparently they were having combined practice and the time I arrived is just the time they were split to sectional practice.

So in sectional practice, I was busy chatting with my juniors and snapping photos of them. Despite efforts of dodging the camera, many photos are taken of them. I over hear them wanting to bring camera to take photos of me for revenge next week. So after their practice, I headed over to Jurong Point to meet Queeness.

She's late, so I headed to Toast Box for my breakfast. Yes, I'm alone. Oh well, had a great time watching Chun Jia work anyway. After that, headed back to Buzz where I continued waiting for Queeness to come. There, I became a smiling machine, smiling at people I know that walked pass.

Soon enough Queeness arrived. Then we went walking around while waiting for Dilip to come. Upon his arrival, headed to the train station and trained to Harbourfront. There we met Edy. We walked to VivoCity. At VivoCity we had some food then headed for the monorail and trained to the Beach Station. At Beach Station, we walked to Palawan Beach.

Shortly it started to drizzle so took the tram back to Beach Station. There we met Syaril whom is working. Had a small chat with him. Took some photos then we headed to Imbiah Station. There we snapped many photos. After which, we tram to VivoCity then walked to Sentosa Broadwalk to find Miqdad and Zuhri. Had small chats with them. Then had some crepes at Ooh Crepes!

After trained back to Boon Lay, and head over to Gek Poh Shopping Centre. There Dilip headed home first while the rest of us got some bubble tea. After that, Queeness headed home then I walked home with Edy. Then we had an awesome small chat.

I'm glad in life, I have friends like them. Next outing when Natassja is back from Jarkata!

Brother's Birthday

Yesterday, I went out shopping with Chun Jia. We met at Pioneer Mall where she had her lunch. We then talked to Jurong Point, and there we walked aimlessly. We went to Toast Box where she treated me to a cup of iced milo. I then texted Xuan Kai to come around after his lessons. After he arrived, we had dinner at Toast Box (Mavis was the cashier) and then soon, we headed home.

Today is my one and only brother's twenty first birthday. That's a big milestone in life, ain't it? So today, my parents brought the whole family out for dinner at Jurong Point's Dian Xiao Er. I did all the food ordering. As usual the food there was pleasing.

After our meal, we intended to walk around a bit in Jurong Point. I didn't know how my parents ended up in OSIM store. They apparently went and tried out the uDivine. There they sat for nearly two hours. After a very long time, they bought a blue color one at four thousand over dollars.

It was ten o'clock when they are apparently almost done, got some cash from my mom then I rush downstairs with my sister to get a cake. Running almost every where as most bakery closed. Finally bought a blue berry cake in the bakery at the train station.

After which, my brother drove the family home. We started the birthday tradition and sang the birthday song. Took photos and the day ended shortly. Happy Birthday brother!

Get Together

Yesterday, I went to the school for Chinese Orchestra. When I arrived, the guard refused to let me in. Apparently Mr Phua refused entry for ex-students. A pass is required to enter. I was actually pretty pissed of by that, but I understand their reasons for doing so. After begging and annoying the guard, she finally let me in and warning me that this is the only time she'll let me go in without the pass.

After going in, when up to look for my section. When to Commerce Room to get a cello to play with. I didn't cut my nails so it felt a bit uncomfortable to play the cello. Taught the new junior a bit, then got lazy. Then I went to 7-11 to get root beer. Came back, played Cosacks with Jian Sen. Slacked around. At one moment a huge bee came in, everybody screamed and ran out. The scene was chaotic and hilarious.

Soon enough CCA ended and I went to the canteen where I meet Estelle. Together we walked to Jurong Point and had Burger King. Had a little walked around the place then went home. After dinner, went to Jurong Point again with Hong Yu. We met at the bus stop near my house and we bought some books at Harris, bought her bag and reached home a little after ten.

I haven't went out with my friends in a very long time. So, I finally met up with Xuan Kai (whom was busy studying) and Jian Sen (whom was busy working). Looks like I'm the only one free everyday. It's been only a week but we still had so many things to catch up. We were supposed to meet at eleven thirty. I texted Xuan Kai at eleven, after ten minutes of him not replying, I noticed something amiss. I start to spam call him and he picked up the phone upon the fourth call. He just woke up.

At eleven thirty, met Jian Sen at Boon Lay Bus Interchange. We went walking around to look at notebooks. Until a little after twelve, Xuan Kai finally arrived. We ate lunch at Lai Lai Kitchen. Inflation, the price increased, proportion decrease. I threw all my vegetable at Xuan Kai's plate. Laughs.

After lunch, went to get bubble tea then trained to Jurong East and walked over to IMM. We went up to the Garden Plaza to have a little fun. There is this water playground and this little boy likes to snatch everything Xuan Kai is playing with. The scene was just hilarious. We headed down stairs where we went to have a walk in Diaso. Bought a milk tea then trained to Lot 1 Shopper's Mall.

There, had a bit of walked around. Headed home a bit after four thirty. Awesome day. More outing with them, I hope.
