What was intended to be a class barbecue turned out to be a clique barbecue since so little people attended. But who cares, I had fun. We had lots of yummy food and played some real ridiculous games. Once again grabbed all the photos from Cong Han's Facebook profile since I've been extremely lazy to bring my camera out now a days. So most of them came over from STAR. Spent half the time talking about some chiobu they met there. Jun Yao and Nicholas can't stay overnight, so the four of us were left barbecuing and talking rubbish all night long. We also did light painting! :D We then cabbed home in the morning. I think I slept in the cab with my mouth opened. Oops! Some of my most awesome friends. Thank you for the awesome night. Tweet |

Leap Foundation Camp
Hello people, I'm back from my LEAP camp at Kota Tinggi, Malaysia. It was great great fun! Met some really great friends. If I have a choice, I would definitely do it again. BUT! I would definitely remind myself to put on insect repellent on the last night if time rewinds! So our camp is situated at Kota Rain Forest Resort and no, I didn't bring camera, so all the photos here belongs to Cong Han and Jacqueline respectively. I'm just grabbing them from Facebook. The first photo on this post is where we're up on the summit of Gunung Panti, I'll get to that later. Here we are just arrived at the resort after around two hour of bus ride from Singapore Polytechnic. Grabbing all our barang barang to the reception then our trainer briefed us on what to do next then off we go! Then we have to cross this long bridge over to our tents to put our stuff. It's actually not that scary, until someone shakes it real hard. But then again, I love roller coasters so this is really nothing. This is my and my group mates during lunch. Hilmi's not in it cause he went to the washroom, I think. But no worries, we took more group photos later. First day so bonded already. Then we had some ice breaker games, domino game and tug-o-war. The games really bonded my group. Looking at how much effort and commitment my teammates put in to help the group win the game really touched me. Second day was more mini games and supposedly Kayaking, but unfortunately it rained. Then we had wet weather programming. Ring toss, but it really exhaust me. Then we headed for Firefly cruise. It was beautiful. Since it's raining, it wasn't a lot of fireflies, but still very beautiful. The trees are lighted up like Christmas trees. When the fireflies fly, it took my breath away. View was spectacular. Next day, went for the trek up Gunung Panti. Photo above, we are preparing for the trek, packing our lunch into our bag. Thanks to my stupid shoe, I fell down numerous times (Justification). But still, managed to conquer it with only a bruise. Got no leeches. While coming back down, it started to rain heavily. The mountain became like a waterfall. My shoe became brown. Threw my shoe away that day. Gala Night was awesome. Since it's raining, there's no camp fire, but still as fun. Each group also get to act a day of the camp. Fun! SHIM night was awesome too. Too bad no photos can be posted. What a waste you ain't there. But I think DMIT FOC's SHIM night is more intense. Quickly and surely, the four days three nights camp came to an end. Definitely don't regret joining it. It's not just fun, it's also inspiring. Great experience. I shall end the post with some group photos. Until next time, bye. Tweet |

Class Chalet
Firstly, I would like to apologize to the classmates whom helped me with my assignment which I still reprimand about in my previous post. Who am I to talk about trust when I don't even trust that they wouldn't do this to me? I'm such a loser seriously. Listen to a bitch harp about my classmates betraying me which I should have known they wouldn't. Alright, either way, I had a class outing last week. Thought I should blog about it before I leave for LEAP camp otherwise the posts will start to snowball. But to be honest, I'm kind of lazy to blog. Currently using the desktop at my dad's office. So not used to using an external keyboard, I kind of keep having typos. Maybe also cause my nails are getting pretty long. So let's get started. I'm trying to remember what really happened while I scroll through the photos on facebook. Boy, is my memory deteriorating! I remember training down to Pasir Ris with Jie Xiang then meeting Din at the station. Afterwards, we walked over to our chalet. Yes, walk. But to be honest, it's not really very far, so oh well. Took the keys, slacked and slowly the rest start coming. Cong Han asked if he should bring the sound system over and if we want karaoke, we said yes and so he brought a luggage full of technical equipment ranging from huge ass speakers, sound system and lots of different wires. Kudos dude! We even have microphones then the boys used the microphone like they are hosting some variety show. It was so hilariously cute! So shortly after the rest arrived, a few of them went to buy dinner. We had CHICKEN RICE! Not the $1.50 one lorh, it's twice it's price. Laughs. Then we start playing some usual group games, ranging from MRT, Heart Attack, 请你跟我这样做 and card games, great fun really. After we're quite done playing, we started watching movies. We watched "Hello Strangers" first then after which "LaDaLand" which I didn't watch cause I joined Cong Han and Jun Yao to FairPrice to get some drink and they went to he arcade. After we're back, more games, more shows, and then I forgot what happened. I'm sure I'm not asleep but I don't remember what happened. I think we watched some YouTube video here and there, then it's morning already. Took a nap and it's 12 already. Woke up, wash up, over to Downtown East to buy lunch. After which, the boys started searching horror shows to watch. Seriously why horror? I hate things to suddenly jump up and scare me. I'm not scared of roller coasters or bungee jump or such, instead I like it. Maybe I'm just afraid of humans with white face and tomato sauce all over their face. Blah blah blah, then we went over to FairPrice to buy barbecue food. Then those potential house husbands go and marinate food. (Any girls looking for good boyfriends? ;D). Fire is then started. I'm like there to 越帮越忙 (cause trouble). All I can do is eat. And to be honest, the food is awesome! And the kid near by (named William) even come by and play, which made my classmates really excited. That night, pretty much chat and play it through. Quickly, the chalet ended. It was so much fun and blogging now really made me miss it a lot. But ain't a lot of people attended this one, don't know why, unable to contact some of them. As much as I want to get over my Polytechnic education quickly, I think I'm going to miss some of them.. Greetings and welcome. I want to play a game... Tweet |
