Disney's Animal Kingdom
Disney's Animal Kingdom 2901 Osceola Parkway Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830 This post is the first part of the four upcoming posts on my trip to DisneyWorld some one month ago. We basically spent a day on each park with each park having their own different theme, it's like a different experience all together. So for Animal Kingdom, it's a little like the zoo as you can tell from the name. But the amount of animal they have impresses me. The first area where we went in, there's just a lot of different kind of enclosure leading up to the actual park with mostly birds and reptiles. Black Swan. I'm not sure but I'm guessing that this is a Female Mallard. Rhinoceros Iguana. Black Neck Swan. After a bit of a hike, we finally arrived to the center of the park. The Tree of Life. Bar-headed Geese (left) & White-naped Crane (right). Rodrigues Fruit Bat. I would be more impressed if they really have those blood suckers bats but I guess that'll be way harder to maintain. The Northern Cardinal. How badly out of focus is this. Sleepy Bengal Tiger. This camera has a selfie flip screen. I couldn't resist. Black-bellied Starling. Apparently this bird's eyes are normally yellow but will turn red if it's stressed out. Pied Imperial Pigeon. Common Emerald Dove. Victoria Crowned Pigeon. It was walking around like a boss, scaring the kids as he go. Then we have monkeys. Or a more complex word, primates. Here we have White-Cheeked Gibbons. The female has blonde hair while the male has black. Their babies are all born with blonde fur though, with the males slowly have their fur turn to black as they grow. Then to the bird show. Here we have a Toco Toucan. Super adorable white Eleonora cockatoo. Verreaux's eagle-owl. So fluffy! The King Vulture is the best looking vulture ever existed. The rest looks ridiculously scary. Harris Hawk. Since you're in United States, how can you miss the national animal here? The Bald Eagle. The very beautiful Scarlet Macaw. Expedition Everest ride. Decent but not thrilling enough for me. Headed to this food area to grab lunch. But I'm not sure if I got heat stroke or what and I fainted (for the first time in my life) in the queue. It was so ridiculous. I woke up to myself already on the floor leaning against the pillar with a member of the DisneyWorld in front of me yakking at me non-stop just so I don't fall back into coma. Didn't had mood to take picture of my Turkey Leg lunch so here is my Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Sandwich for dessert. So here's me enjoying my ice cream on a wheel chair. LOL. On to the next ride! Look. Flower of Bananas. Kilimanjaro Safaris ride through Harambe Wildlife Reserve. This ride is a MUST GO cause the amount and kind of animals that you will see is amazing! Pink-backed Pelican Nile Crocodile. Baobab Tree. Looks upside down like how the roots are pointing at the sky. White-bearded Wildebeest. Reticulated Giraffe. Dexter Cattle. Greater Flamingo. African Elephant. White Rhinoceros. African Lion. Ostrich. Ridiculously beautiful Addax. Yellow-billed Stork. Okapi. It has the but of a zebra but is actually a relative of the Giraffe. Pancake Tortoise. Cause it's flat. Get it? HAHA. Indian Star Tortoise. Fishes. Meerkats! So cute! Here we have Gorillas. Rafiki from The Lion King. And that's it! This is the only park that close relatively early because the animals needs to rest. I'm not an animal expert so I might have gotten some of the animal names wrong. But this is kind of like a zoo. The least of the Disney feel out of all of the parks. Not that much for trilling rides but more of animals sight-seeing.
