KL Cruise
Hello hello!
I'm back and extremely lazy and exhausted today. Mainly because how dreamy the whole country looks like in this hazy situation. Right, so I'm gonna update about my cruise trip a month back and the only reason why this took so long is that the photos are taken from my camera (I usually use my phone) which resulted to ridiculously large sized photos which are ridiculously hard to upload. But yeah, I finally got them all up so here we go!
So as usual, we went for Super Star Virgo which is the based in Singapore and just so happen to be my horoscope too. Just too mention, I don't really take photos of the inside of the ship mainly because I have been there on a regular basis since primary school so I don't really find them photo worthy at all.
So yep, around the Harbourfront Cruise Centre! Inside of it, which is relatively empty on the first storey. (Which is the arrivals area) Cause everyone's at level 2! Which is the departure area. So remember to go there early, cause THERE IS SO MANY PEOPLE. And the queue is so long to board the ship. Quite annoying. So first thing I did is to queue for a table in the Restaurant. Okay, in case you have never been to the cruise before. The cruise have some restaurants that provide food for free for everybody. For chinese and western will have a menu of food which they will serve to you for the first round and then you can ask another serving for free afterwards. Bella Vista in this case serve both Chinese and Western. Pavilion serves only Chinese. Then there is a buffet up at the third floor named Mediterranean Terrance. Look at the queue. All you do is queue queue queue. On when I went outside to look for reception, (there is no reception inside the ship. only reception at the balconies) I see that they are filling up the oil. So yep, back to the restaurant. We opted for the Chinese! The food we are served. Their food quality have drop drastically as compared to that of the past few years.
But I still love their soup just because they cook so much of it at one go and then it's so flavorful.
The dessert. Too sweet for my liking this time round. The night sky. What we mainly do at night is Casino. And yes, I remember I lost money that night. HAHA No photography allowed in the casino!
Next day morning when we awaken, we have already reached the shores of Malaysia!
All the morning people! Chinese breakfast at the same place again. Oh and there's a buffet section at the restaurant too so I got my cereal! My sissy. My dad won't smile to the camera! So our tag, we have to pay to join the bus that bring us to the shopping area in KL. Alternatively you can just get down of the ship and get a taxi. Just make sure you come back before 6pm or the ship would leave without you. Finally disembarkation from the ship to the port at KL. Yep, there's a queue for disembarkation too. Oh and there's navy ships at the same port too! A very long walk to the mainland. Our tour guide, well, we didn't go for a tour, he just talk about Malaysia in the bus. HAHAHA. He's funny! In the bus. We arrived at our destination. Sungei Wang Plaza! Haha the same moving mannequin can be spotted along PIE too! Then we bought Ice Cream for ourselves. Turkish Ice Cream in this case! Dumb fat me with ICE CREAM. Hehehe. The streets of KL. There's nothing much so we went back to the shopping mall. And bought some malay kueh! I didn't eat them buy my family say it's good! The place look a lot like Far East Plaza! My family eating and walking.
And then we spotted: OMG A NAKED MOUSE. It looks so creepy. They sell snakes and scorpions in the pet shops. Crazy exotic. And I got to touch a sugar glider which is mad cute but my sis say it's scary.
Then just in front of it is a shop that sells my beloved. TEA LEAF EGG. And best part is it's peel for you already. It's good. By good, I mean the Tea Leaf eggs in Singapore's pasar malam are horrible. I tried Taiwan's and Hong Kong's and they are a hell lot better than Singapore's. My parents then bought fruit rojak! Quite nice. Sweet, sour and a bit spicy from the chilli. Very weird, but oddly refreshing! After so much eating, we finally settled for our lunch!
The beef noodles! The noodle was very chewy and delicious. Don't really like the beef but I'm addicted to the noodles!
So yep, the beef noodle is from this shop. And yay! Free wifi when you are overseas is the best! We ordered some BBQ food too. In my opion, they are not as nice as those found in Singapore. Kind of dry. Their teh tarik are good though! Oh after our meal we saw this! THE TOILET BOWL THEMED RESTAURANT. But we are too full to have it! But it's quite cool ley! Oh and look at those yummy marshmallow! Oh and before we leave, I bought some food to bring back to the ship.
This is the crepe cake. It has a really cool texture. But I guess I was too full to have it I got sick of it pretty fast. But it's still quite nice and I would really love to taste their other flavors!
Tako Balls! LOL. Taste the same as the Singapore ones la!
So at 5:30pm we are walking back to the ship already!
India flag, if I'm not wrong! My sister with her stripy jacket. *stalker mode* MEEEE! The disco ball at the lobby. LOL! Lastly our dinner that day!
So yea, that's basically it for the trip. Sorry, not sorry for spamming you with photos. I need to speed up on the posts cause I can barely remember what has happened already! HAHAHA. Alrighty then I shall see if I can upload another post later today! HEHE.
